LABC COVID-19 March 28, 2020

This morning our Leadership Team met via conference call to discuss the current status of our Church during the Pandemic. Here are the notes of our discussion.

Sunday Services will remain online for now until April 12th.  We will meet each week to discuss the status of Lord’s Day Worship.

Beginning Wednesday April 1st, we will start a midweek Bible Study.  This will be recorded through YouTube and then posted on Facebook by 6:30pm each Wednesday.  Church members can tune in at their convenience.

We have also updated our website to have the Sunday Morning Sermons uploaded by the afternoon each Sunday.  This means that if a non-Facebook user wants to watch online but not live, can do so by going to our webpage under the tab called “Resources”.

For anyone who does not have access to the internet we are prepared to mail them DVDs of the Sunday Worship.  For anyone interested please have them call the Church office.

We are continuing to work closely with Empower Cocke County to provide meals to the Community.  Currently they are preparing 90 meals a week to the homeless, 30 meals a week for children, 70 food boxes for the elderly.

Our Ministers Staff is working with local Pastors and Government on a weekly basis to discuss the needs in the community.  Each week there is a conference call for us to stay connected and make sure we are reaching those in need.

Options Pregnancy Center is open and is overwhelmed with the demand right now.  We continue to work with them in any needs that they have.

Finally, this information will be posted later today on our website under the COVID-19 tab.  Please share with others who may not have Facebook.

Your Servant,

Pastor Randy

Soli Deo Gloria
